Three quick tips to save you time and money

  • Braking while traveling through a stop sign doesn't constitute a stop.

  • You can still get a ticket for holding your phone in your hand and talking on speaker phone. It's called "hands free device" for a reason.

  • If it comes down to taking your word or the NCIC computer's word regarding your suspended license, I'm siding with the NCIC machine.

Got some good calls there, buddy!

1) We used to call that a "Philly-Stop", and it usually always got you a citation.
2) I don't believe in using a phone while driving - that's what my wife and "co-pilot" is for!
3) Computers might not be reliable, but they are, if nothing else...TRUTHFUL (unlike many drivers).

(funny - word verification is COPLA...LOL)

Good post.
Stay safe.

Dear Moe,
Thanks for sharing. I believe in complete stops.

I notice the people behind me frequently don't though.

I wouldn't take anybody's word for it either!

Glad to see you writing,
Ann T.

my passcode was in slyme. ha.
