First off, you can count on the POTUS NOT retracting his statements. And even if he did, we'd all know deep down he still feels the same way and the retraction would be a lie.
It wouldn't make much of a difference anyway - he's for "his" people above those that voted him in office (which I did NOT do!).
Second, the POTUS NEVER should have commented on that situation, period. His press confernce was on the "new health care reform" and how we all need "change".
He should have stuck to the issue at hand - peroid! He should not have been directing his personal comments on a situation he really knew nothing about, for the entire nation to see.
And btw, I really hope people are being enlightened to Obama's new health care reform and how it takes aim at seniors. He's already got themm dead and buried in the ground before he gets this thing passed - or he's trying to.
FWIW, I heard Obama called Crowley and offererd to have a beer with him and they had a pleasant conversation. Then Obama had to screw it up by saying he'd invite Gates, too. That ought to go over well. /heavy on the sacasm
Someone please tell me how long before this idiot's term is over? Soon just doesn't sound soon enough.
