Remembering why I took this job
I actually was able to help a few people this week. It felt good to be able to have a positive effect on someones day and it was a nice break from all the negativity and a little uplifting.
Of course, I did have several different occasions where I had people tell me to "go fuck myself" in one form or another. I guess it was the universe's way of letting me know not to get used to the warm fuzzy feeling because there's always a steaming pile of shit only a few feet away.

Used to have a saying that out of every 100 people, 99 of them might very well be assholes, but it's THE ONE YOU HELP that makes up FOR those other 99.
And some days, that's about all you have to run with.
