Frustrated parent

After some thinking, I've come to the realization that I'm a frustrated parent. The only catch is, they're not my kids and there are 9,000 of them. My day is filled with:

"Put that down."
"Don't touch her."
"Leave him alone."
"You're not supposed to be here."
"Because I said so."
"You can't have that."
"Don't drive so fast."
"Stop arguing."

I've heard a variety of reasons why people become police officers. Nobody ever says "I became a cop because I wanted to be a Dad." I wish there would be a little more action and a little less scolding. It's supposedly bad luck to say the "Q" word because the whole world will fall apart.

Quiet! Quiet! Quiet! Quiet! Quiet!

Hopefully that will make for some interesting days.

If I didn't know you were wearing the SHIELD...I'd SWEAR you were a TEACHER...LOL.

Be well, and have a safe Memorial day weekend, Boss!

I didn't think about that. I'd never make it as a teacher.

As a teacher, I've come to realize that half my battles are because I'm having to parent someone else's child. Sigh...I've repeated some of those same lines myself. You'd be a fine teacher.
